Wir hoffen sehr, dass unsere Partner vom so genannten arabischen Frühling Lehren ziehen werden und wir in Syrien jedoch fair einen politischen Prozess anstreben werden, der auch die Regierung und alle Oppositionsgruppen einbeziehen wird, bei dem die Syrer ihr Schicksal selbst bestimmen werden.

We hope that our partners will draw lessons from the so-called Arab Spring, and we will honestly work to establish a political process in Syria, involving both the government and all opposition groups, that allows Syrians themselves to determine their future.
