According to the present invention, the transportation card comprises a card operating system. The card operating system has a tree structure of a directory structure including a dedicated file (DF) and an element file (EF), wherein the dedicated file (DF) is added with an ADF which is called "Config DF" for the compatibility with each company so that the information on the compatible ADF for transportation is stored, and that the stored information is provided to the outside during transactions, and further the dedicated file includes an essential file capable of storing additional information that includes at least transfer information and entrance information.

본 발명에 따른 교통카드는, 전용파일(DF) 및 요소파일(EF)로 구성된 디렉토리 구조의 계층구조(Tree Structure)를 가지며, 상기 전용파일(DF)은 각 사업자와의 호환사용을 위하여 Config DF라는 ADF를 추가하여, 교통 호환 ADF의 정보를 저장 후 거래 시 이를 외부에 제공하고, 적어도 환승정보, 입구정보를 갖는 부가정보를 저장할 수 있도록 필수 파일을 포함하며; 단말기로부터 상기 Config DF를 인식하여 전국호환 교통카드 또는 기존 카드가 인식된 후, 인식 결과에 기초하여 기존 카드에 대한 지불거래를 수행하거나, 상기 부가정보를 토대로 전국호환 교통카드에 대한 표준카드의 지불거래를 수행하되; 상기 기존 카드에 대한 지불거래 시, 타 전자화폐사로부터 받은 키전달 카드의 키를 지불 SAM 발급용 SAM으로 전달하고, 상기 지불 SAM 발급용 SAM은 전국호환 교통카드용 지불 SAM으로 상기 키를 제공함으로써, 상기 전국호환 교통카드용 지불 SAM으로부터 기존 발급하던 키와 타 전자화폐사용 키를 일괄 발급하기 위한 카드 운영 시스템을 포함한다.
