This is an old "masia" (Catalan country house) dated in 1640 and rebuilt in Modernista (Art Nouveau) style by Manel Joaquim Raspall i Mallol between 1.908 and 1.909, when the house was bought to the old owners the Xammar family by Joan Millet, a brother of the founder of "Orfeó Català" which headquarters are located in the "Palau de la Música Catalana". Raspall respected the basic house structure and gothic elements as the main door, double windows etc., but introduced new elements as the pinnacles, the steeped windows in low and upper floor and the ceramic adorns.

Es una antigua masía datada en el año 1.640 y reconstruida en estilo Modernista por Manel Joaquim Raspall i Mallol entre 1.908 y 1.909, cuando la casa fue adquirida a sus antiguos propietarios la família Xammar por Joan Millet, un hermano de Lluís Millet el fundador del Orfeó Català que tiene su sede en básica y los elementos góticos como la porta principal, las ventanas geminadas, etc., pero introdujo nuevos elementos como los pináculos, ventanas escalonadas de las plantas baja, superior y de la torre y los adornos cerámicos.
