"""অবসর-ভাতা"" অর্থ আংশিকভাবে প্রদেয় হউক বা না হউক, যে কোন অবসর-ভাতা, যাহা কোন ব্যক্তিকে বা ব্যক্তির ক্ষেত্রে দেয়. এবং কোন ভবিষ্য তহবিলের চাঁদা বা ইহার সহিত সংযোজিত অতিরিক্ত অর্থ প্রত্যর্পণ-ব্যপদেশে দেয় অবসরকালীন বেতন বা আনুতোষিক ইহার অন্তর্ভূ্ক্ত হইবে."

Retirement benefits means any payment due to the depositor on account of retirement whether on superannuation or otherwise and includes Provident Fund dues, retirement/superannuation gratuity, commuted value of pension, cash equivalent of leave, savings element of Group Savings linked Insurance Scheme payable by employer to the employee on retirement, retirement-cum-withdrawal benefit under the Employees Family Pension Scheme and ex gratia payments under a voluntary retirement or a special voluntary retirement scheme.
