When not deployed, they would work on 24/7 shifts in the Department of Safety and Security Communications Centre (which currently is staffed with only one Professional) under the direct supervision of the Deputy/Senior Operations Officer, Division of Regional Operations, who has overall responsibility for surge deployments.
