وعلى الصعيد الدولي، اعترفت اللجنة بأن حماية المعارف التقليدية قضية تشمل عدداً كبيراً من الجوانب وتجري مناقشتها في عدة محافل، بما فيها اتفاقية التنوع البيولوجي، والمنظمة العالمية للملكية الفكرية، ومنظمة التجارة العالمية.

At the international level, the Commission recognized that the production of TK has many aspects and is being addressed in several forums, including the Convention on Biological Diversity, the World Intellectual Property Organization and the World Trade Organization.
