At the beginning of the third millennium, I believe it is extremely important to claim the credit for our contributions to medicine, culture, mathematics and other spheres, in a nutshell for everything we have given the world in general and Europe in particular in the period we lived outside of Eretz Yisrael, in exile and often under the most atrocious conditions.
