For my production, which mixes fact and fiction, I went on Facebook and got in contact with Rosemarie Wilson, the granddaughter of my grandfather s former mistress, says Bart. What especially fascinated me was that Rosemarie grew up in Detroit, nicknamed Motor City; the whole city is built around the automobile industry. General Motors is still there, and Ford, Chrysler. But in the first half of the 20th century there were hundreds of automobile manufacturers there.

Voor mijn voorstelling, die een spel met de waarheid is, heb ik via Facebook contact gelegd met Rosemarie Wilson, de kleindochter van mijn opa s vroegere minnares, vertelt Bart. Wat mij fascineerde was vooral dat Rosemarie is opgegroeid in Detroit, bijgenaamd Motor City; die hele stad is opgebouwd rond de auto-eerste helft van de vorige eeuw zaten er wel honderden autofabrikanten.
