Within the period of the grant funding, in cooperation with my colleagues, we have developed molecular diagnostic methods for the detection of the West Nile virus, the Usutu virus, six different viruses of the honeybee, the Tahyna virus, a porcine reovirus, the avian nephritis virus, the duck hepatitis virus, the PRRS virus, the hepatitis E virus, and several other animal viruses.
