Esta comparación se hizo utilizando una variable de respuesta simulada en varios escenarios, donde se varió por un lado el coefi ciente de correlación entre la variable de interés y la variable de información auxiliar (total personas por área geográfi ca de la base de datos de viviendas, hogares y personas - VIHOPE del DANE) y por otro lado se varió la razón entre el intercepto del modelo lineal que las asocia y el promedio de la variable simulada, esto con el fin de determinar el comportamiento de cada estrategia en cada escenario simulado y determinar la de mejor comportamiento según el coefi ciente de variación estimado (CVE) arrojado por cada estrategia.
