The method for managing item auctioning in the online game, according to the present invention, comprises the steps of: an auctioning service provision server displaying at least one item to be auctioned on a user terminal; displaying on a status display area in an area that corresponds to the item on the auctioning page at least one auctioning status from a successful auctioning of the item, an unsuccessful auctioning of the item, auctioning of the item in progress, and a resumption of auctioning due to the lack of a winning bidder; displaying on a time display area, which is different from the status display area, in the area that corresponds to the item time left until the end of the auction, when the auctioning of the item is in progress; and displaying on the time display area time left until the item disappears from the auctioning page when the auctioning of the item ends.

본 발명에 따른 온라인 게임의 아이템 경매 관리 방법은 온라인 게임에서의 경매 서비스 제공 서버가, 경매 대상인 하나 이상의 아이템을 사용자 단말에 표시하는 단계; 아이템에 대한 경매가 성공한 경우, 아이템에 대한 경매가 실패한 경우, 아이템에 대한 경매가 진행중인 경우 및 낙찰자가 나오지 않아 경매가 다시 진행되는 경우 중 적어도 하나 이상의 경매 진행 상태를 경매 페이지 내 아이템에 대응하는 영역 중 상태표시영역에 표시하는 단계; 아이템에 대한 경매가 현재 진행중인 경우, 아이템에 대응하는 영역 중, 상태표시영역과 다른 시간표시영역에 경매 종료 시점까지의 시간을 표시하는 단계; 및 아이템에 대한 경매가 종료된 경우, 경매 페이지에서 아이템의 소멸시간까지의 시간을 시간표시영역에 표시하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
