ووجه انتباه اللجنة إلى بعض الأحكام الجديدة المتعلقة بما يبذله مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة للتجارة والتنمية (الأونكتاد) من جهود ترمي إلى تقديم تقرير إلى الجمعية العامة بشأن التكاليف الاقتصادية والاجتماعية التي يتكبدها الشعب الفلسطيني بسبب الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، عملا بقرار الجمعية العامة 69/20؛ وإلى جهود اللجنة وأنشطتها في إطار الاحتفال بالسنة الدولية للتضامن مع الشعب الفلسطيني؛ وإلى ما طُلب إلى الأمين العام من أن يواصل تزويد شعبة حقوق الفلسطينيين في العامة بالموارد اللازمة لتنفيذ برنامج عملها؛ وإلى ما طُلب إلى إدارة شؤون الإعلام من مواصلة مبادراتها التي تساهم مساهمة فعالة في إيجاد مناخ دولي يُفضي إلى الحوار ويدعم جهود السلام.

He drew the Committee’s attention to some of the new provisions relating to the efforts of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) to report to the General Assembly on the economic costs of the Israeli occupation for the Palestinian people, pursuant to General Assembly resolution 69/20; the Committee’s efforts and activities in commemoration of the International Year of Solidarity with the Palestinian People; the request that the Secretary-General should continue to provide the Division for Palestinian Rights of the Secretariat with the necessary resources to carry out its programme of work; and the request that the Department of Public Information should continue its initiatives, which effectively contributed to an international atmosphere conducive to dialogue and supportive of peace efforts.

Señala a la atención del Comité algunas de las nuevas disposiciones relativas a los esfuerzos de la Conferencia de las Naciones Unidas sobre Comercio y Desarrollo (UNCTAD) para informar a la Asamblea General de los costos económicos de la ocupación israelí para el pueblo palestino, en virtud de la resolución 69/20 de la Asamblea General; los esfuerzos y las actividades del Comité para conmemorar el Año Internacional de Solidaridad con el Pueblo Palestino; la petición de que el Secretario General siga proporcionando a la División de los Derechos de los Palestinos de la Secretaría los recursos necesarios para llevar a cabo su programa de trabajo; y la petición de que el Departamento de Información Pública continúe sus iniciativas, que contribuyen eficazmente a una atmósfera internacional que conduce al diálogo y apoya las iniciativas de paz.

Il appelle l’attention du Comité sur certaines des nouvelles dispositions sur les efforts déployés par la CNUCED pour rendre compte à l’Assemblée générale des coûts économiques de l’occupation israélienne pour le peuple palestinien, en application de la résolution 69/20 de l’Assemblée générale, les activités et efforts déployés par le Comité à l’occasion de la célébration de l’Année internationale de solidarité avec le peuple palestinien, le fait que le Secrétaire général soit prié de continuer à doter la Division des droits des Palestiniens du Secrétariat des ressources nécessaires à l’exécution de son programme de travail et la demande faite au Département de l’information de poursuivre ses initiatives qui contribuent à l’émergence, au niveau international, d’un environnement propice au dialogue et aux efforts de paix.

Он обращает внимание Комитета на ряд новых положений, касающихся усилий Конференции Организации Объединенных Наций по торговле и развитию (ЮНКТАД) по представлению Генеральной Ассамблее доклада об экономических последствиях израильской оккупации для народа Палестины в соответствии с резолюцией 69/20 Генеральной Ассамблеи; усилий и деятельности Комитета по проведению Международного года солидарности с палестинским народом; просьбы о том, чтобы Генеральный секретарь продолжил предоставлять Отделу по правам палестинцев Секретариата необходимые ресурсы для выполнения своей программы работы; просьбы о том, чтобы Департамент общественной информации продолжил реализацию инициатив, эффективно способствующих созданию международной обстановки, располагающей к диалогу и к усилиям, направленным на достижение мира.
