Nothing contained in or done under the authority of any law shall be held to be inconsistent with or in contravention of this section to the extent that the law in question authorises the infliction of any description of punishment that was lawful in Grenada immediately before the coming into operation of this Constitution.

Nada que esté contenido en una ley o que se ejecute en virtud de esa ley podrá considerarse inconsecuente con esta sección o en contravención de ella, en cuanto la ley en cuestión autorice la aplicación de cualquier tipo de castigo que era legal en Grenada inmediatamente antes de que entrara en vigor esta Constitución. ARTICULO 6.-
