The Committee was informed that the United Nations Logistics Base (UNLB) did not serve as a central warehouse for such items. The Committee was further informed that guidance with regard to spare parts and supplies was provided to the Mission by the Logistics Support Division and the Communications and Information Technology Service of the Department of Field Support, using a balance of standard ratios and historical usage, and that the Mission endeavoured to stay within the guidelines
