It ́s important to emphasize that Maní has no a sewer system, so the groundwater resources are highly vulnerable to contamination, which has been analyzed for the temporal and spatial evolution of the aquifer through piezometers maps in times of low and high precipitation.

Es importante resaltar que el municipio de Maní no cuenta con sistema de alcantarillado, de tal forma que el recurso hídrico subterráneo se ve altamente vulnerado a la contaminación, para lo cual se ha analizado la evolución temporal y espacial del acuífero por intermedio de mapas piezométricos en épocas de baja y alta precipitación.
