كما فرضت الإدارة العامة للجمارك رقابة على المداخل والمخارج الاستراتيجية للبضائع من أجل مكافحة الغش الجمركي والتهرب الضريبي في إطار اتفاقية المساعدة المتعددة الأطراف بين مديري إدارات الجمارك في أمريكا اللاتينية وإسبانيا والبرتغال، المبرم بين اللجنة المشتركة بين الوكالات لمكافحة التهريب والتهرب الضريبي وفرقة العمل المعنية بالجمارك، وأضافت موظفين إلى فريق مراقبة حقوق الملكية الفكرية.

The Customs Department has also instituted checks at strategic points of entry and departure for commercial goods in order to combat customs fraud and tax evasion under the agreement on multilateral assistance between heads of customs agencies in Latin America, Spain and Portugal concluded by the Inter-Agency Commission to Combat Smuggling and Tax Evasion (CICOCEI) and the Customs Task Force (GOA), and has added staff to the intellectual property rights inspection team.

Asimismo la Dirección General de Aduanas realizó un control en los puntos estratégicos de acceso y salida de mercaderías para la lucha contra el fraude aduanero e ilícitos fiscales en el marco del convenio de asistencia multilateral de directores de aduanas de América Latina, España y Portugal, ejecutados por la CICOCEI (Comisión Interinstitucional Contra el Contrabando y la Evasión Impositiva) y el GOA (Grupo Operacional Aduanero) y realizó la incorporación de funcionarios a la brigada de control de los derechos de propiedad intelectual.
