وأشادت اللجنة بالدولة الطرف لقيامها بإنشاء اللجنة الوطنية لمنع العنف الأسري ومكافحته في تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 1998، وهي تهدف إلى تنسيق السياسات الرامية إلى منع العنف الأسري والإشراف عليها ورصد تطبيق القانونين رقم 24-97 و 14-94، المتعلقين بمكافحة العنف وحماية القصر تباعا، وتنفيذ الاتفاقيات الدولية التي يصدق عليها البلد.

The Committee commends the State party on the establishment of the National Commission for the Prevention of Domestic Violence in November 1998 with the function of coordinating and supervising policies for the prevention of domestic violence and monitoring enforcement of Acts Nos. 24-97 and 14-94 against violence and for the protection of minors, respectively, and compliance with the international agreements ratified by the Dominican Republic.

El Comité encomia al Estado Parte por la creación de la Comisión Nacional de Prevención y Lucha Contra la Violencia Intrafamiliar en noviembre de 1998, que tiene como finalidad la coordinación y supervisión de políticas orientadas a la prevención de la violencia Intrafamiliar y el vigilar la aplicación de las Leyes 24-97 y 14-94 contra la violencia y de protección a menores, respectivamente, y el cumplimiento de los convenios internacionales ratificados por el país.

Le Comité félicite l’État partie d’avoir créé en novembre 1998 une commission nationale de prévention de la violence au sein de la famille et de lutte contre ce type de violence qui a pour mandat de coordonner et de superviser les politiques visant à prévenir la violence au sein des foyers et de veiller à l’application des lois 24-97 et 14-94 concernant respectivement la lutte contre la violence et la protection des mineurs, et de veiller au respect des accords internationaux ratifiés par le pays.

Комитет высоко оценивает усилия государства-участника по созданию в ноябре 1998 года Национальной комиссии по предотвращению бытового насилия и борьбе с ним, цель которой заключается в координации политики, направленной на предотвращение бытового насилия, и надзоре за ее осуществлением и наблюдении за применением положений законов 24-97 и 14-94 соответственно о борьбе с насилием и защите несовершеннолетних, а также в осуществлении ратифицированных страной международных договоров.
