The WC-Fe-based hard metal-brazed material of the present invention comprises: a base material unit which is an iron-based alloy; and a hard metal unit which is brazed onto the base material unit, and which comprises 5 to 40 wt % of Fe, 1 to 10 wt % of an element which cooperates with the Fe to form a solid solution, 0.1 to 3 wt % of a material for enhancing the wettability of the portion to be brazed onto other materials, wherein the remainder is WC.
