On April 15, 1981 Miss Williams wrote to the Unemployment Insurance Commission reiterating "our reason for appeal", and stated they were appealing the decision to deduct $50.00 from Paidel's benefit cheques, believing they are within the limit for doing so.

Dans une lettre en date du 15 avril 1981 adressée à la Commission d'assurance-chômage Mlle Willlams réitérait "nos motifs d’appel" et déclarait qu’ils en appelaient de la décision portant déduction de $50 sur les mandats de prestations de Paidel, estimait qu’ils le faisaient dans les délais prescrits.
