The tale of the agave often doesn’t go much further than the infamous “Everybody has a Tequila-story...”, that typical moment during our time in college where we shoot bad quality tequila with a lemon wedge and a lick of salt, the reason why we keep tasting it in the back of our mouth at any given time the word ‘tequila’ is mentioned, so sad.

Vaak gaat het agave-verhaal schrijnend genoeg niet veel verder dan de alomgekende “Everybody has a Tequila story...” uit onze studententijd, waar we shotjes lage kwaliteitstequila achterover kletsten met een citroenpartje en een lik zout en waarvan de wrange nasmaak nog steeds op onze tong ligt.
