Both institutions in the dependencies of the former Convent of San Francisco have two temporary exhibitions and a permanent exhibition of historical-photographic material of the port of Garachico during the XVI and XVII century. In one of the dependencies the Municipal Museum of Sciences is located (Filial of the Insular Museum of Sciences) that exhibits different species of marine fauna of the Archipelago and other littorals.
