وقررت المحكمة في حكمها ما يلي: ”انطلاقا من النقطة 1، على النحو المتفق عليه بين الطرفين في المادة 1 من معاهدة نظام الحدود بين الدولتين لعام 2003، يتبع خط الحد البحري الوحيد الذي يعين حدود الجرف القاري والمنطقتين الاقتصاديتين الخالصتين لرومانيا وأوكرانيا في البحر الأسود القوس الممتد على طول 12 ميلا بحريا في البحر الإقليمي لأوكرانيا حول جزيرة الثعابين إلى النقطة 2 (عند الإحداثيتين 45o 03' 18.05" شمالا و 30o 09' 24.6" شرقا) حيث يتقاطع القوس مع الخط المتساوي البعد عن سواحل رومانيا وأوكرانيا المتجاورة.

In its judgment, the Court decided as follows: “starting from Point 1, as agreed by the Parties in Article 1 of the 2003 State Border Régime Treaty, the line of the single maritime boundary delimiting the continental shelf and the exclusive economic zones of Romania and Ukraine in the Black Sea shall follow the 12-nautical-mile arc of the territorial sea of Ukraine around Serpents’ Island until Point 2 (with co-ordinates 45° 03' 18.5" N and 30° 09' 24.6" E) where the arc intersects with the line equidistant from Romania’s and Ukraine’s adjacent coasts.

Dans cet arrêt, la Cour s’est prononcée ainsi que suit : « à partir du point 1, tel que convenu par les Parties à l’article premier du traité de 2003 relatif au régime de la frontière d’État, la ligne frontière maritime unique délimitant le plateau continental et les zones économiques exclusives de la Roumanie et de l’Ukraine dans la mer Noire suit l’arc des 12 milles marins de la mer territoriale de l’Ukraine entourant l’île des Serpents jusqu’à son intersection avec la ligne équidistante des côtes adjacentes de la Roumanie et de l’Ukraine, au point 2 (situé par 45° 03’ 18,5" de latitude nord et 30° 09’ 24,6" de longitude est).

В этом решении Суд постановил, что «начиная от точки 1, согласованной сторонами в статье 1 Договора о режиме государственной границы 2003 года, линия единой морской границы, разделяющая континентальный шельф и исключительные экономические зоны Румынии и Украины в Черном море, следует 12‐мильной дуге территориального моря Украины вокруг острова Змеиный до точки 2 (с координатами 45( 03( 18,5( с. ш. и 30( 09( 24,6( в. д.), где дуга пересекается с линией, равноотстоящей от смежных побережий Румынии и Украины.

法院在判决中裁定如下:“从点1开始,如当事双方在2003年《国家边界制度条约》第1条中所议定,划分罗马尼亚与乌克兰在黑海的大陆架和专属经济区的单一海洋边界界线,应顺着乌克兰在蛇岛周围的12海里领海弧线,直到弧线与罗马尼亚和乌克兰相邻海岸之间的等距线相交的点2(经纬度为北纬45°03'18.5",东经30°09'24.6")。
