বিচারপতি মদন বি লোকুর ও দীপক গুপ্তর বেঞ্চ শিশুদের বিরুদ্ধে যৌন নির্যাতন আইন পকসোর উল্লেখ করে বলেছেন, সেখানে আইন রয়েছে, ১৮ বছরের কমবয়সীর সঙ্গে পরিচিত কেউ যৌন হয়রানি করলেও তা অপরাধ বলে গণ্য হবে।

Referring to the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, the Bench comprising Justices Madan B Lokur and Deepak Gupta said POCSO Act provides that if a person related to a child below 18 years of age commits a penetrative sexual assault on that child, then he would be liable for aggravated penetrative sexual assault
