本発明のヘッド調整方法、ヘッド駆動装置、及び画像形成装置の一実施形態では、複数個のヘッドモジュール(12-1~5)のうち、ラインヘッド(10)に対する記録媒体の搬送方向の最も下流側に配置された最遅モジュール(12-5)の位置を基準として、各ヘッドモジュールの位置ずれ量を特定し、この位置ずれ量に、ヘッドモジュールの前記搬送方向と平行な方向の取付公差よりも大きいオフセット量(Fs)を付加した量に対応する値を各ヘッドモジュールの補正量として定める。
