The revised Economic Accounts for Agriculture ( # ) and its coherent counterpart, Agricultural Labour Input (ALI) statistics, provide a harmonised framework within which timely data can be used for the construction of productivity indicators. Indeed, the reason that a new Chapter on agricultural productivity makes sense in this report is because the Income Indicators that are constructed from the EAA and ALI and analysed in this report are themselves a form of productivity indicator that measures the health of the agricultural industry in the European Union
