The present invention relates to a method for aligning an optical axis of an orthogonal-type stereoscopic camera and an orthogonal-type stereoscopic camera and, more particularly, to: a method for aligning an optical axis of an orthogonal-type stereoscopic camera, which simultaneously aligns optical axes of a left-eye image camera and a right-eye image camera from long and short distances before photographing a stereoscopic image, thereby enabling the precise alignment of the optical axes and remarkably shortening the time taken for aligning the optical axes; and an orthogonal-type stereoscopic camera.

본 발명은 직교식 입체 카메라의 광축 정렬 방법 및 직교식 입체 카메라에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로는 입체영상 촬영 전에 좌안 영상 카메라와 우안 영상 카메라의 광축을 원거리 및 근거리에서 동시에 정렬함으로써 정밀한 광축정렬이 가능하고 광축정렬에 걸리는 시간을 매우 단축할 수 있는 직교식 입체 카메라의 광축 정렬 방법 및 직교식 입체 카메라에 관한 것이다.
