Así que por un lado tenemos la lucha de los primeros personajes con la cocatriz, con Meler intentando cegarla sin éxito usando la varita luminosa de la dríada y Grognak cayendo encima de ella con una manta para taparla y evitar que pueda picarles (con la posibilidad de dejarles paralizados) y así conseguir acabar con ella con espadazos a diestro y siniestro.
