وشارك في الانتخاب الأخير (2011) 17 حزباً، وحصلت ستّ قوى على مقاعد في البرلمان وهي من ثم ممثلة فيه: الحزب الديمقراطي الاجتماعي (38.65 في المائة و108 مقاعد)، والحزب الاشتراكي (28.06 في المائة و74 مقعداً)، وحزب الوسط الاجتماعي والديمقراطي (11.7 في المائة و24 مقعداً) وائتلاف الحزب الشيوعي البرتغالي/حزب البيئة (7.91 في المائة و16 مقعداً)، وكتلة الجناح اليساري (5.17 في المائة و8 مقاعد).

In the latest (2011), 17 parties participated and six forces obtained seats in Parliament and are therefore represented therein: the Social Democrat Party (PSD: 38,65% and 108 seats); the Socialist Party (PS: 28,06% and 74 seats), the Social and Democratic Centre (CDS-PP: 11,7% and 24 seats); the Coalition Portuguese Communist Party/Ecologist Party (PCP-PEV: 7,91% and 16 seats); and the Left Wing Block (BE: 5,17% and 8 seats).
