Forordning om beskyttelse af skovene mod brande [(EØF) nr. 2158/92 og (EF) nr. 308/97] skabte mulighed for at yde EU-støtte i perioden 1992-1996 til projekter vedrørende overvågning og bekæmpelse af skovbrande, f.eks. gennem tilvejebringelse af skovstier, brandbælter, vandforsyningssteder, rydningsudstyr og overvågningsfaciliteter.

Die Verordnung zur Bekämpfung von Waldbränden [(EWG) Nr. 2158/92 und (EWG) Nr. 308/97] hat eine gemeinschaftliche Förderung von Projekten zur Bekämpfung und Überwachung von Waldbränden im Zeitraum 1992-1996 ermöglicht, beispielsweise Anlage von Forstwegen, Brandschneisen und Wasserentnahmestellen sowie Anschaffung von Abbuschgeräten und Überwachungseinrichtungen.

Regulation on the protection of the Community's forests against fire [(EC) Nos 2158/92 and 308/97]. Under this regulation, the Community provided funding in the period 1992 -1996 for fire-prevention and monitoring projects, including the building of forest paths, forestbreaks, water supply points and the procurement of clearing equipment and monitoring facilities.

El Reglamento relativo a la protección de los bosques comunitarios contra los incendios (2158/92 y 308/97) regula la financiación de proyectos de prevención y de protección contra los incendios forestales para el período 1992-1996, especialmente, la construcción de infraestructuras de protección tales como senderos forestales, cortafuegos, puntos de suministro de agua, equipos de desbroce e instalaciones de control.
