The boarding team discovered the vessel was a Taiwan-registered fishing boat flying a false flag under the fictitious name "Sunrise Glory." A second false flag, an Indonesian one, was found on board. A search of the hold revealed a 1-ton cargo of the illegal street drug, crystal methamphetamine, hidden among bags of rice.

เจ้าหน้าที่ที่ขึ้นตรวจเรือพบว่าเรือนั้นเป็นเรือประมงที่จดทะเบียนในไต้หวันและได้ชักธงปลอมด้วยชื่อที่แต่งขึ้นว่า "ซันไรส์ กลอรี" อีกทั้งพบธงปลอมผืนที่สองบนเรือซึ่งเป็นธงอินโดนีเซีย การตรวจค้นระวางเรือทําให้พบสินค้าบรรทุกเป็นคริสตัลเมทแอมเฟตามีน ซึ่งเป็นยาเสพติดผิดกฎหมายหนัก 1 ตัน โดยถูกซ่อนปะปนกับกระสอบข้าว
