Amendment 6 Recital 6 (6) Criteria need to be established for identifying any significant and sustained upward trends in pollutant concentrations and for defining the starting point for trend reversal, taking into account the likelihood of adverse effects on associated aquatic ecosystems or dependent terrestrial ecosystems.

Justification Lors de l'évaluation de la qualité des masses d'eau souterraines, l'incidence de la diminution des volumes d'eau ne saurait être négligée puisque celle-ci conduit à une augmentation des concentrations de polluants naturels, comme le sulfate.
