Two types of protein domains participate in Wnt binding: FRZ domains and WIF domains. FRZ domains are present in the extracellular regions of Frizzled- and ROR-type Wnt receptors and are also found in the Wnt antagonist secreted frizzled-related proteins (sFRPs).
