ويمثل جمع البيانات عن التطورات على طول الدروب الرئيسية للاتجار بالمواد الأفيونية جانباً هامًّا من جوانب عمل موظفي البحث والاتصال الداعم لتنفيذ ولاية ميثاق باريس، وهو يجرى تحت توجيه تقني من مشروع رصد تجارة المواد الأفيونية الأفغانية وإشراف عام من فرع الأبحاث وتحليل الاتجاهات.

Data collection on developments along major opiate trafficking routes represents an important aspect of the research and liaison officers’ work in support of the implementation of the Paris Pact mandate, and is performed under the technical guidance of the Afghan Opiate Trade Project and overall supervision of the Research and Trend Analysis Branch.
