The recommendations of the eighth meeting of the ad hoc open-ended inter-sessional working group on article 8 (j) of the Convention and related provisions were also considered at the twelfth meeting of the Conference of the Parties, at which the Conference endorsed the global plan of action on customary sustainable use of biological diversity and urged parties and other stakeholders to implement it, taking into account diverse national circumstances, including legal and policy regimes.

Las recomendaciones de la octava reunión del grupo de trabajo especial de composición abierta entre períodos de sesiones sobre el artículo 8 j) de la Convención y disposiciones conexas también se examinaron en la 12a reunión de la Conferencia de las Partes, que hizo suyo el plan de acción mundial sobre utilización consuetudinaria sostenible de la diversidad biológica e instó a las partes y a otras partes interesadas a ponerlo en práctica, teniendo en cuenta diversas circunstancias nacionales, en particular los regímenes jurídicos y normativos.

Рекомендации, разработанные в ходе восьмого совещания Специальной межсессионной рабочей группы открытого состава по вопросу о применении пункта (j) статьи 8 и соответствующих положений Конвенции, были рассмотрены на двенадцатом совещании Конференции сторон, в ходе которого Конференция приняла Глобальный план действий по устойчивому использованию биологического разнообразия и призвала стороны и прочие заинтересованные лица осуществить Глобальный план, принимая во внимание различные национальные обстоятельства, включая правовые и политические режимы.
