An internal combustion engine comprising combustion chamber means, inlet track means, for directing air into the combustion chamber means, and fuel induction means, for supplying powdered fuel to be burned in the combustion chamber means, in which the fuel induction means are arranged for supplying the powdered fuel into the inlet track means, so that the so supplied powdered fuel forms a substantially homogenous fuel/air mixture for ignition in the combustion chamber means, during the engine's operation.

Moteur à combustion interne comprenant une chambre de combustion, une voie d'entrée permettant d'acheminer l'air dans la chambre de combustion, ainsi que des moyens d'admission de carburant permettant d'alimenter ladite chambre en un carburant en poudre destiné à être brûlé. Selon ce procédé, les moyens d'admission sont conçus pour apporter le carburant en poudre jusqu'à la voie d'entrée, de façon que ledit carburant forme un mélange carburant/air pratiquement homogène destiné à être allumé dans la chambre de combustion au cours du fonctionnement du moteur.
