At approximately ten miles back from the runway on a 45 ̊ intercept to the final approach course and still at 6000 feet, I could now positively identify the airport.

Avant de pouvoir enfin le distinguer sans erreur, je me trouvais à environ 10 milles de la piste; la route de l’aéronef, qui volait encore à 6 000 pieds d’altitude, formait alors un angle d’interception de 45° par rapport à l’axe d’approche finale.
