Although we can see – as described above – a lot of chances in this active use of new technologies for involving young people in the design and production of information there are also some risks concerning mainly safety that we have to bear in mind when it comes to the use of new media by young people: giving away personal data, getting into interaction with unknown people, reliability of the produced information are only some of them.
