This work studied the Effect of the presulfiding agent, type of precursor (sulfate vs. nitrate of promoter), synthesis method (conventional vs. carbothermal carbiding) and heating rate in the hydrodesulfurization of thiophene over activated carbon supported cobalt-molybdenum carbides.
