والهدف الآخر الذي تسعى هذه المنظمات إلى تحقيقه يتمثل في تشجيع الأمم المتحدة على ضمّ عناصر القوات المسلحة لجبهة التحرير الوطني إلى قوات الأمن والشرطة في تيمور الشرقية من خلال الاعتراف بدورهم البطولي وبتضحياتهم أثناء عقود الاحتلال، وبالاعتدال الذي تحلوا به خلال السنة الماضية مما سمح لبعثة الأمم المتحدة في تيمور الشرقية، ولما كان يسمى بالقوة الدولية في تيمور الشرقية المعروفة اليوم باسم إدارة الأمم المتحدة الانتقالية في تيمور الشرقية، بالعمل دون الوقوع بين نارين

Another objective of those organizations was to urge the United Nations to incorporate members of the Armed Forces for the National Liberation of East Timor (FALINTIL) into the East Timor security and police forces in acknowledgement of those fighter's heroic abnegation during decades of colonization and of their restraint, which in # had allowed UNAMET and INTERFET- and was currently allowing UNTAET- to act without coming between two fires

Otro objetivo de estas organizaciones es instar a las Naciones Unidas a que incorporen en las fuerzas de seguridad y de policía de Timor Oriental a los efectivos de las FALINTIL (Fuerzas Armadas de Liberación de Timor Oriental) en reconocimiento de su heroicidad y del sacrificio realizado durante decenios de colonización y de la mesura con que se condujeron el año pasado, gracias a la cual la UNAMET y la INTERFET en ese momento y ahora la UNTAET han podido actuar sin quedar entre dos fuegos
