Pierre (Haiti) (spoke in French): On behalf of my delegation, I wish to express my gratitude to the President of the Assembly for convening these plenary meetings, beginning on World Humanitarian Day, to consider the humanitarian situation in Pakistan following the recent flooding that has battered that friendly country.
