ولما كانت اللجنة الاستشارية قد تبنت الرأي القائل بأن الأخذ بهذه الآلية سوف يستجيب لدواعي قلقها بشأن الكفاءة، كما أنه سيوفر أيضا دليلا جيدا بشأن نسبية التعويض، فقد أوصت اللجنة الجمعية العامة بالنظر في إيجاد آلية للتسوية التلقائية بغية تسوية تعويضات المسؤولين الثلاثة المعنيين بحيث تظل عند نسبة 97 في المائة من تعويضات أكبر مسؤولي الأمانة العامة.

Since the Advisory Committee took the view that the introduction of such a mechanism would respond to its efficiency-related concerns, and would also establish a clear guideline for compensation relativity, it recommended that the General Assembly should consider establishing an automatic mechanism for adjusting the compensation of the three officials concerned so that it remained at 97 per cent of that of the most senior Secretariat officials.

Dado que la Comisión Consultiva considera que la introducción de un mecanismo de esa índole respondería a su preocupación por la eficiencia, y además establecería una orientación clara respecto de la relatividad de la remuneración, recomienda que la Asamblea General considere establecer un mecanismo automático de ajuste de la remuneración de los tres funcionarios de que se trata de manera de que se mantenga en el 97% de la de los funcionarios de más alta categoría de la Secretaría.

Le Comité consultatif considère que la mise en place d’un mécanisme d’ajustement automatique répondrait à ses préoccupations relatives à l’efficacité et établirait clairement le principe de la relativité de la rémunération. Il recommande par conséquent à l’Assemblée générale d’envisager de créer un mécanisme automatique d’ajustement de la rémunération des trois fonctionnaires intéressés de sorte à maintenir un rapport de 97 % avec celle des plus hauts fonctionnaires du Secrétariat.

Поскольку Консультативный комитет считает, что внедрение механизма автоматической корректировки будет отвечать соображениям эффективности, которыми он руководствуется, и послужит надежной гарантией поддержания соотношения размеров вознаграждения, он рекомендует Генеральной Ассамблее рассмотреть вопрос о введении в действие механизма автоматической корректировки размеров вознаграждения указанных трех должностных лиц для поддержания соотношения на уровне 97 процентов от вознаграждения большинства старших должностных лиц Секретариата.
