وفي الفقرة 25 من مرفق قرار الجمعية العامة 68/1، ذكرت الجمعية أنه ينبغي للأمين العام أن يقدم مقترحات لتعزيز التعاون على نطاق منظومة الأمم المتحدة، آخذا في الاعتبار مهام المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي بعد تعزيزه، مع قيام إدارة الشؤون الاقتصادية والاجتماعية في الأمانة العامة بدور المركز الرئيسي لدعم المجلس، من أجل الاستفادة على أفضل وجه من الموارد المتاحة لمنظومة الأمم المتحدة لتوسيع نطاق الدعم المقدم للمجلس ولمكتبه.

In paragraph 25 of the annex to its resolution 68/1, the General Assembly stated that the Secretary-General should make proposals to promote collaboration across the United Nations system, taking account of the functions of a strengthened Economic and Social Council, with the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the Secretariat serving as a central hub of support for the Council, in order to better utilize existing resources of the United Nations system to broaden support to the Council and its Bureau.

En el párrafo 25 del anexo de su resolución 68/1, la Asamblea General afirmó que el Secretario General debería formular propuestas para promover la colaboración en todo el sistema de las Naciones Unidas, teniendo en cuenta las funciones de un Consejo Económico y Social fortalecido, con el Departamento de Asuntos Económicos y Sociales de la Secretaría como centro de apoyo al Consejo, a fin de utilizar mejor los recursos existentes del sistema de las Naciones Unidas para ampliar el apoyo prestado al Consejo y su Mesa.

Au paragraphe 25 de l’annexe à sa résolution 68/1, l’Assemblée générale a indiqué que le Secrétaire général devrait faire des propositions visant à promouvoir la collaboration entre les organismes des Nations Unies, compte tenu des fonctions renforcées du Conseil économique et social, le Département des affaires économiques et sociales du Secrétariat servant de pôle centralisateur de l’appui qui lui est destiné, afin de mieux utiliser les ressources existantes au sein du système des Nations Unies et d’élargir ainsi le soutien apporté au Conseil et à son bureau.

В пункте 25 приложения к своей резолюции 68/1 Генеральная Ассамблея заявила, что Генеральному секретарю следует представить предложения по поощрению сотрудничества в рамках системы Организации Объединенных Наций, принимая во внимание функции укрепленного Экономического и Социального Совета и роль Департамента по экономическим и социальным вопросам Секретариата как главного центра поддержки работы Совета, с тем чтобы более эффективно использовать имеющиеся ресурсы системы Организации Объединенных Наций в целях расширения содействия, оказываемого Совету и его президиуму.
