We have been hearing this as a natural fact right from our childhood and the reason is, the Non-Cooperation Movement was launched on the 1st of August 1920 the uit India Movement, which is also known as Agast Kranti began on the 9th of August 1942 and on 15thAugust 1947 India became independent.

இயல்பாகவே இந்த விஷயம் பற்றி நாம் சிறுவயது முதலே கேள்விப்பட்டு வந்திருக்கிறோம், ஆகஸ்ட் மாதம் ஒன்றாம் தேதி 1920ஆம் ஆண்டு நடைபெற்ற ஒத்துழையாமை இயக்கம் தொடங்கப்பட்டது தான் அதற்கான காரணம். பின்னர் ஆகஸ்ட் மாதம் 9ஆம் தேதி 1942ஆம் ஆண்டு, வெள்ளையனே வெளியேறு இயக்கம் தொடங்கியது, இதை ஆகஸ்ட் புரட்சி என்றும் நாம் அறிகிறோம். அடுத்து 1947ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் மாதம் 15ஆம் தேதி நாடு சுதந்திரம் அடைந்தது.
