ولبلوغ هذه الغاية، شارك كل من برنامج الأمم المتحدة المشترك المعني بفيروس نقص المناعة البشرية/متلازمة نقص المناعة المكتسب (الإيدز) والفرع الهولندي للمنظمة الدولية غير الحكومية "أطباء بلا حدود" في تنظيم 16 حلقة دراسية تدريبية، ولُقّن أكثر من 300 أخصائي قدموا من مراكز لمكافحة الإيدز وعيادات لمدمني المخدرات ومنظمات غير حكومية أساليب جديدة للوقاية لدى مدمني المخدرات.

To this end 16 teaching seminars were held in 1999, in collaboration with the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/Aids and the Dutch chapter of Médecins sans Frontières; they were attended by over 300 skilled staff from the Aids centres, drug dispensaries and non-governmental institutions, who were taught new methods of going about the prevention of HIV infection in a drug-taking milieu.

Con este fin en 1999, en cooperación con el Programa Conjunto de las Naciones Unidas sobre el virus de la inmunodeficiencia humana y el síndrome de inmunodeficiencia adquirida (ONUSIDA) y el Departamento Holandés de la organización internacional no gubernamental Médicos sin Fronteras, se organizaron y se celebraron 16 seminarios, en los cuales más de 300 especialistas de los centros del SIDA, de dispensarios para toxicómanos y organizaciones no gubernamentales aprendieron nuevos métodos de organización de la profilaxis de la infección por VIH entre los consumidores de estupefacientes.

À cette fin, en 1999, conjointement avec le Programme commun des Nations Unies sur le VIH/sida (ONUSIDA) et avec la section néerlandaise de l’organisation non gouvernementale internationale Médecins sans frontières, 16 séminaires de formation ont été organisés et plus de 300 spécialistes venus de centres de lutte contre le sida, de dispensaires pour toxicomanes et d’organisations non gouvernementales ont été initiés aux nouvelles méthodes de prévention parmi les toxicomanes.
