ورغم ذلك، يستفاد أن رجالا ونساء وأطفالا يجبرون على أداء أعمال مثل إصلاح الطرق والبناء، والعتالة للجيش، والخفر، ونقل المعدات العسكرية، وزرع الأرز والشاي قسرا، وتكسير الصخور، والحفر وجمع الحطب، والبناء، وإزالة الشجيرات والأيكات، وتسييج الثكنات والمجمعات العسكرية، وحفر مخابئ وخنادق عسكرية.

This notwithstanding, it is reported that men, women and children are forcibly made to perform duties such as road repair and construction, portering for the military, sentry duty, transport of military supplies, forced rice and tea cultivation, rock-breaking, digging, gathering of firewood, construction, bush and scrub clearance, fencing of military barracks and compounds and digging of military bunkers and trenches.

No obstante ello, se informa de que se obliga a hombres, mujeres y niños a realizar tareas de reparación y construcción de caminos a trabajar de porteadores para el ejército, cumplir funciones de centinela, transportar pertrechos militares, cultivar arroz y té, picar piedras, hacer excavaciones, recoger leña, hacer demoliciones, desmontar malezas y matorrales, construir cercas para cuarteles y complejos militares y excavar búnkers y trincheras militares.
