The nucleus of the magnetic nanoparticle includes a magnetic iron oxide. The surface of the nanoparticle includes ligands bonded thereto by means of an ionic bond, a covalent bond, a hydrogen bridge, a hydrophobic bond, an electrostatic bond and/or a metal-ligand coordination bond, wherein the ligand includes an active region having at least one group chosen from - CO2H, -PO3H, -PO4H, -SO3H and -SO4H.
