The Committee recommends that the State party repeal provisions that prevent persons with intellectual or psychosocial disabilities from marrying and that it take the necessary measures to support the families of children with disabilities and to enable persons with disabilities, especially women, to exercise their rights to motherhood or fatherhood without discrimination and on an equal basis with others.

Le Comité recommande à l’État partie d’abroger les dispositions qui restreignent l’accès des personnes présentant un handicap psychosocial et intellectuel au mariage et de prendre les mesures d’accompagnement nécessaires pour appuyer les familles qui ont des enfants handicapés et pour que les personnes handicapées, en particulier les femmes, puissent exercer leurs droits à la maternité ou à la paternité sans discrimination et dans des conditions d’égalité avec les autres personnes.

Комитет рекомендует государству-участнику отменить положения, которые ограничивают лиц с психосоциальными и умственными нарушениями в праве на вступление в брак, и принять меры для оказания необходимой поддержки семьям с детьми-инвалидами, а также для того чтобы инвалиды, особенно женщины-инвалиды, могли осуществлять свое право на материнство или отцовство без какой бы то ни было дискриминации и на равных условиях с другими лицами.
