The mandrel (10), wound with wire (20) held by pins (30) held in the terminal holders (14) is then placed in an injection mould, an electrofusion sleeve injection moulded around the wound mandrel (10), terminal pins (30) and holders (14), then the terminal pin holders (14) are withdrawn radially into the mandrel (10) and the electrofusion coupler stripped axially from the mandrel.

On place ensuite dans un moule à injection le mandrin (10) entouré du fil (20) maintenu par les broches (30) retenues dans les supports (14), et on moule par injection un manchon d'électrofusion autour du mandrin (10), du fil entourant celui-ci, des broches (30) de la borne ainsi que des supports (14), lesquels sont ensuite retirés radialement pour les faire entrer à l'intérieur du mandrin (10), et le dispositif de couplage d'électrofusion est arraché du mandrin axialement.
