The present invention provides a method using restriction fragment mass polymorphism (RFMP) to examine for a genetic mutation that causes drug resistance in a patient infected with HIV, wherein the method is sensitive and can accurately as well as readily examine large volumes for a genetic mutation in the total 17 codons located in the reverse transcriptase gene (codons 1 to 335) and in the protease gene (codons 1 to 99) within the HIV pol gene of the subject being examined.

La présente invention concerne un procédé utilisant un polymorphisme de masse des fragments de restriction (RFMP) pour examiner une mutation génétique qui provoque une résistance à un médicament chez un patient infecté par le VIH, le procédé étant sensible et pouvant examiner de façon précise ainsi que facile de grands volumes pour une mutation génétique dans les 17 codons totaux localisés dans le gène de transcriptase inverse (codons 1 à 335) et dans le gène de protéase (codons 1 à 99) à l'intérieur du gène pol du VIH du sujet qui est examiné.

본 발명은 HIV 감염 환자에게 발생할 수 있는 약제 내성 유전자 돌연변이를 제한효소 절편 질량다형성법(RFMP)을 이용하여 검사 대상자의 HIV pol 유전자 내 역전사분해효소 유전자(코돈 1 내지 코돈 335)와 HIV pol 유전자 내 단백질분해효소 유전자(코돈 1 내지 코돈 99) 내에 위치하고 있는 총 17개 코돈의 유전자 돌연변이를 민감하고 정확하게 그리고 대용량으로 신속하게 검사할 수 있는 방법을 제공한다.
