Dans le domaine de l’environnement, les États membres fournissent un soutien au Fonds pour l’environnement mondial, au Groupe de travail sur la haute mer pour ce qui est de la pêche illicite, à la mise en œuvre de l’engagement pris par le G8 d’aider l’Afrique à tirer pleinement parti du Système mondial d’observation du climat, ainsi qu’à l’approche stratégique naissante en matière de gestion internationale des produits chimiques.
